AgResearch has an active nationwide research and development programme in low-chemical and organic farming systems.
Livestock-systems research has been conducted for more than 10 years at Winchmore Research Station in the South Island and Ballantrae Hill Country Research Station in the North Island.
AgResearch is working closely with various industry sectors to improve knowledge and opportunities for organic supply.
